Course Description

This course is the second level certification course for trainers. It is intended for trainers who have been working in the field and who have already passed the IWE Professional Trainer certification. In this course, participants learn how to design a course from scratch, starting with an organizational needs assessment, and proceeding with a task analysis that will form the basis of training materials. Participants will also learn advanced facilitation techniques including advanced inquiry skills and coaching skills. In addition, participants learn how to evaluate how learners are applying the training they received and how to evaluate the business outcomes of the training (Kirkpatrick levels 3 and 4 evaluations). Participants who successful pass the course will receive an IWE senior trainer accreditation.

  • Use presentation/facilitation skills to facilitate presentations.
  • Apply needs assessment techniques to identify organizational and training needs.
  • Design curriculum and content for a training course
  • Develop an instructor guide
